Within our Marketing & Design function we have two key departments: Brand & Customer Offer and Design, New Product Development (NPD) & Store Environment.
Our Brand & Customer Offer team are responsible for all our advertising – not just for WHSmith, but for all our other brands too – like Funky Pigeon. They also help to boost spend and customer loyalty in a range of ways, from planning events, such as celebrity book signings, to analysing data to understand what customers truly want and how markets perform.
Design, NPD & Store Environment is central to creating a consistent look and feel for our brand – from our in-store marketing communications to our product and packaging design. They create market leading ranges, with innovative designs that are updated each season and help us to constantly evolve our store environments and develop new store concepts.
