So let’s talk about your graduate options. If you have aspirations to move into a certain profession or area of expertise, we’ll help you achieve them. You might be interested in a Group-wide project management role or a specific team such as Buying or Finance. You may want to work at our Swindon or London Head Offices. Wherever you join and in whichever function, where you go from there is up to you and your progress is down to your drive and interests.
All your rotations will be relevant to the business area you join, so you can be sure you’ll gain hands-on experience. From day one you’ll take accountability for ‘real work’, including a high-profile and cross-functional project, so an entrepreneurial flair will help you to excel. First-class on-the-job training will be provided, plus support via mentors, workshops and one-on-one coaching. To make sure you’re on track for success, you’ll receive feedback at every stage of your development.
In this business, results and performance are key, so to thrive you need to be a certain kind of person: self-motivated and highly commercial with strong numerical and analytical skills. You also need a 2:1 degree (minimum) in your subject – Retail or Business related subjects would be an advantage.
